Why specialty coatings
Some surfaces need a coating, not just a coat of paint.
Paul didn’t set out to do specialty coatings. Clients kept calling about the surfaces ordinary paint was never made for — hard substrates, harsh conditions, jobs where a standard finish simply won’t hold.
So he learned the systems built for them — lacquer, oil-based finishes, industrial-grade coatings — and made them part of the business. It’s now some of the work PZ is known for.

A proper exterior job should last 10 to 15 years.
That isn’t an ambitious target — it’s what honest, careful work produces. When a finish gives out before its time, the paint is rarely the reason.
